Our group has done something rather unique with Heroclix; we play it as a Super Hero Role-Playing Game. One player designs and runs a series of games as a Game Master, with their own custom villains and such, while the other players play their own custom heroes. At the beginning there were a certain number of regular Marvel® and DC® characters used, but nowadays most games are pretty much all custom heroes and villains.

To make this happen we’ve had to modify a few rules in Heroclix, and add on to some others. In these pages you'll find our House Rules and Character Generation system, the software to create your own custom characters, and information on how we make our buildings and other terrain.
